We must never forget the supreme sacrifice made by 343 brave men on that day.

As years pass by, it seems as though people forget.  We as a society cannot let this happen.  We as firefighters, will not let this happen.  It is a sad part of history, but a part of history nonetheless.

What is also important to remember is that every day in every city, village, and town around the world is that there are firefighters that risk their lives.  They take the risk to help their fellow man.  This is perhaps the greatest gift that can be given by any person.
